Today I was randomly looking around the internet. I found out something rather interesting about the making of the "Welcome to the Black Parade" music video.
Drummer Bob Bryar received burns on his leg from being too close to the fire in the video. Afterwards he is seen pulling up his left pant leg to see the burn on his calf. Bob was out of the tours for a while due to the severe burn on his leg. Gerard also got hurt in this video due to guitarist Frank Iero tackling him.
"Gerard also got hurt in this video due to guitarist Frank Iero tackling him." <--Uh...WeIrD.
And yeah...that's it.

A few weeks ago, I was talking with a friend about Danny Phantom. Apparently, I wasn't the only person in the world who was absolutely nuts for that cartoon. It made me think about Arsidimus, which I've described as "a weird mix between Harry Potter and Avatar: The Last Airbender...with a bit of Danny Phantom thrown in." I forgot about it until just now. I might as well update with my life since 2010, since I've been extremely secretive about it to everyone. I graduated from IU Bloomington in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in history. To be honest, I barely passed. I was extremely jaded by the fact that I didn't have the right mental aptitude to do the prerequisites for dental school, so I settled with history. My freshman year was pretty great, but I ended up disconnecting from the world after that year. For the two years that followed graduation, I worked random jobs that were unfulfilling. After a lot of searching, I found something called human-computer interaction. I researched into it and realized I had been doing it all along. You know how I made crazy graphics and designs for Arsidimus? That was almost my first foray into HCI without even knowing it. I had to do a lot of work to compensate for a terrible undergraduate career, but I got into IU Bloomington's Master's in HCI/d program by some miracle. This is a typical day in the life of an HCI/d student. Two of my friends and I just won semi-finals for a Disney competition, which was awesome. It's the first thing I've won since high school. We're doing all sorts of crazy, fun stuff in the program and I couldn't be happier. I still have a year and a half to go. Right now, I'm looking for internships. I hope that once I graduate, I will finally land a job as a Interaction Designer for Disney, because it's the closest I'll ever get to working on Star Wars. Any job in the entertainment industry would be great, to be honest. The only thing I can really post from the project so far because of rules! Unlike (what seems like) EVERYONE in our graduating class, no, I don't have a boyfriend, fiance, husband, whatever. It makes me feel so old seeing people I graduated with getting engaged and married. I have plenty of awesome friends, though. That's fulfilling in of itself. Not everyone in our cohort, but I can assure you that everyone pictured is amazing. Nobody might ever read this, but it's okay. It is incredibly surreal imagining myself back in 2006. Even if the path was rocky, there does not go a day where I am not thankful for where I am at right now in life. I only hope that everyone is finding their way, even if it is not what you expected six and a half years ago. Me. Presenting to people. I promise I wasn't scared. Also, I still love cartoons. I never quite grew out of that. Gravity Falls is the best. My friend and I are slowly converting the cohort into a bunch of Gravity Falls fans. I'm eagerly awaiting that Danny Phantom reboot. (My friend said there's supposed to be a new series where they're all grown up? That would be awesome.)
